Review by Tala Barham (G11)
On the 9th of October a football match between RIS and Cambridge took place at the pitch on campus and many people came to support the competing teams.
The spectators had many positive things to say about the Raha senior boys football team. Raha’s DT teacher, Mr.Tim Barrett for instance said, “It’s time to fill the shoes; they lost important players last year and they’re hoping to make up for it this year. They have a very talented coach and the team has very skilled football players.” Others had general comments about the game, many of them being “Excited because it’s the first game of the season.”
The final score was 9-1 to Raha.
